Build: A Public Narrative Workshop

Build a tool that walks someone through crafting their public narrative, using the worksheet structure from the organizing handbook.

Flow: (1) Story of Self — prompts for choice points ('When did you first care about being heard? When did you first experience injustice? What did you do?'), then a challenge / choice / outcome canvas for the one moment they pick. (2) Story of Us — the same canvas, but the character is the community: shared values, shared challenges, and at least one success that gives hope. (3) Story of Now — the urgent challenge, the fork between nightmare and dream, and a hard ask with a date, time, and place. (4) Weave — assemble the three into one draft, displayed for practicing out loud, with a timer (two minutes is a good discipline).

Include a coaching mode for a partner: the listener's questions from the handbook ('What values did the story convey? What was the challenge, the choice, the outcome? What is the speaker moving people to do?') and space for notes — questions, not verdicts.

Constraint: the tool never generates the story. Neighbors write their own words; the tool only holds the structure, the prompts, and the practice clock. A narrative an AI wrote for you is exactly what public narrative is not.
